Henry Brothers (Magherafelt) Ltd (the Company) realises it’s duties under the Health and Safety at Work (NI) Order 1978, the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and all other relevant health and safety legislation.
The Company gives a commitment that the health, safety and welfare of everyone involved or affected by it’s activities will be given the highest priority at all times.
In order to comply with it’s statutory obligations, and the high safety standards expected by it’s directors, the Company shall;
- Provide and maintain plant and systems of work that are, so far as is reasonably practicable, safe and without risks to health;
- Provide arrangements for ensuring, so far as is reasonably practicable, safety and absence of risks to health in connection with the use, handling, storage and transport of articles and substances;
- Provide such information, instruction, training and supervision as may be necessary to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health and safety at work of our employees;
- Provide a place of work, so far as is reasonably practicable, which is maintained in a condition that it is safe and without risks to health and the provision and maintenance of means of access to and from it that are safe and without such risks;
- Provide and maintain a working environment for our employees that is, so far as is reasonably practicable, safe, without risks to health, and adequate as regards facilities and arrangements for their welfare.
The Company undertakes to provide adequate funding to ensure that this Policy is implemented and that there is ongoing compliance with it’s statutory and moral duties.
In reviewing this Policy document the Company shall consult with it’s employees to obtain their feedback on it’s arrangements for their health, safety and welfare.
